Success for Foxhall Household Waste Recycling Centre and Greatmoor EFW at national awards.
The success of a Suffolk Household Waste Recycling Centre and the design of the largest single line EFW plant in the UK have been recognised at a national awards ceremony in London.
Suffolk County Council’s Foxhall Household Waste Recycling Centre, which is provided by FCC Environment, took home the title of Civic Amenity Site of the Year at the 2017 Excellence in Recycling and Waste Management Awards yesterday.
And the Greatmoor EFW facility, a partnership between Buckinghamshire County Council and FCC Environment which converts the county’s black bag waste into clean, green energy, was heralded for Innovation in Design of a Waste Management Facility.
FCC Environment’s Group Chief Executive Paul Taylor said “The Awards for Excellence 2017 have been a real success story for FCC Environment working in partnership with key customers. I would like to thank all the hard working people on the ground who deliver these award winning facilities day in and day out, they can be very proud of their achievements.”Back
