FCC Environment, one of the UK’s leading waste and resource management companies, and Buckinghamshire County Council opened the doors to the Greatmoor energy from waste (EfW) facility near Aylesbury to the press yesterday (14th July), showcasing the development and explaining the benefits it will deliver now that the building in nearing completion.

re3 are introducing further changes to the Bracknell and Reading recycling centres in a drive to improve efficiency and make essential savings. These will follow on from changes - a new visitor permit scheme and recycling centre access for re3 residents only - that are being implemented in July.

As Wimbledon fever sweeps the nation, it’s ‘advantage Suffolk’ as residents are now able to donate their re-useable items at seven of the county’s Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC) for sale at the Foxhall Re-use Shop to benefit a local charity.

23,000 recycling centre visitor permits a day are now being sent out via Royal Mail to households in the re3 area of Bracknell Forest, Reading and Wokingham. By late June over 182,000 of the free vinyl permits will have been delivered, ready for re3 area residents to use on recycling centre visits.
