FCC to participate in the World Waste to Energy Summit in London

As an indication of the great relevance that Waste to Energy represents for the Group’s Environmental Services Area, FCC Environment will be attending the 2016 World Waste to Energy Summit, taking place in London on 10th and 11th of May.

The Summit brings together an excellent faculty of international Waste to Energy industry experts. FCC Environment will act as Gold Sponsors and will play an active role at the Summit. This will include the presence of Paul Taylor, FCC Environment UK’s CEO, in a CEO Panel with other prominent UK waste management players. Carlos Afonso, FCC Environment’s Head of Concessions and Corporate Development, will join a panel regarding access opportunities to international markets in this industry. Moreover, FCC will host a round table with different experts and managers, in addition to an informative stand.

Over two days, London will become the world capital for the Waste to Energy industry. Authorities, CEOs, bankers, developers, investment funds, technology providers and end users will gather to discuss the current situation of the industry, as well as its future in terms of technological innovation, economic and legal policies, financing and partnerships in the global marketplace.
