Bespoke solutions

We know individual businesses produce very different combinations of waste, each requiring a carefully selected mix of collection, recycling, treatment and secure disposal services.

FCC Environment has the technical experience, end-to-end infrastructure and knowledgeable people to provide an all-encompassing, sustainable solution at scale. One that we own and deliver on your behalf, saving you time, effort and money.

Working in partnership with you, our experts carry out a thorough audit to build a detailed picture of your day-to-day operations. We discuss your priorities and aspirations and explore how our services can be shaped to deliver additional business benefits. Then we develop a bespoke service specification that deals with each waste stream, from collection to disposal, minimising the use of landfill and maximising every opportunity to transform waste into valuable resources for sale or reuse.

We ensure that our solution takes full account of all your legislative and regulatory requirements and your corporate social responsibility targets, policies and programmes. This provides peace of mind and enhances your reputation.

Our facilities

Our ongoing investment in our own network of facilities ensures that our teams are operating the latest technology and equipment, helping customers to waste less and recycle more.

Being fresh and innovative in our solution design helps customers to take advantage of operational savings and efficiencies that can result from modern and well organised waste management.

We own and operate more than 200 dedicated locations around the UK, including recycling and composting centres, green energy production plants and waste treatment facilities, including specialised hazardous waste processing. Controlling of all of our own facilities ensures that we always know the journey your waste streams are going on and can develop these to maximise resource recovery and diversion from landfill.

All our facilities operate to ISO 14001 environmental standards. Our operations have been awarded the Carbon Trust Standard for achieving sustained carbon emission reductions, year on year.

Dedicated support

Once your requirements have been defined, we take care of business, applying our expertise to allow you to concentrate on your core activities, rather than on time consuming, hands-on contract management.

Your dedicated FCC Environment Key Account Manager and Contract Coordinator act together as fixed points of contact, taking complete ownership of your waste management services, managing delivery, quality control and achievement of agreed targets.

The Key Account Manager will constantly review the service specification with a range of expert colleagues to ensure that it represents best practice. They will continue to suggest service improvements or enhancements that could deliver additional benefits or value. With over 2,200 people here in the UK and a further 50,000 around the globe, we have no shortage of expertise and experience to draw upon.

Your Contract Coordinator will also take responsibility for all your ongoing reporting, record keeping and compliance, helping you to make sure that you meet all your legal obligations for the safe and effective management of your waste. We can even help you with engagement and training programmes that help your colleagues recycle more and waste less.
